SK Austria Klagenfurt announces good news: The Violets are retaining defensive talent Jannik Robach on the long-term.
The 19-year-old is extending his contract with Carinthia until 2028. The local player recently made his debut for the club in a 0-1 defeat to LASK in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga.
“I feel incredibly comfortable in Austria and I am really happy with the trust and appreciation shown in me,” said Robach on extending his contract.
Robach is a role model for his descendants
The defender made his professional debut in the Austrian FA Cup against Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz in August 2022. In the Bundesliga he made his debut in the Carinthian derby at Wydad Casablanca at the beginning of November 2023. Robatsch has played a total of seven competitive matches for Klagenfurt so far.
With him, Austria Klagenfurt wants to take the path of integrating its young talents into the fighting squad.
“Jannick serves as a role model for the boys who feature in the academy teams. He has already proven his qualities with the professionals and we are fully convinced of his potential,” said the club's managing director, Günter Gorenzel.
In his youth, Robatsch played for ATUS Velden and Wolfsberger AC. The all-around defensive player then joined Waidmannsdorfers, where he impressed fans with his solid performances. Finally, coach Peter Buckholt included him in the combat team in the summer of 2023.
