Beaver Creek – Sunday, 05.12.2021, 21:06

Beaver Creek’s mega weekend of men’s skaters ends with cancellation. The second departure cannot take place aboard the “Birds of Prey” scheduled for Sunday.

The reason for this is the weather: due to strong winds, the start will initially be postponed to the start of the reserve and the start time will be postponed several times. The final decision to cancel will be made at 9 PM CET.

It is not yet clear when the departure will take place.

This means that only four of the six planned sprints have taken place in North America. The entourage is now back in Europe, and at the weekend the technicians will be driving the giant slalom and slalom in Val d’Isere.

The World Cup leader is Swiss Marco Odermatt (346), ahead of Carinthian Mathias Mayer (310) and Norway’s Alexander Amodt Keelde (229).
