DrThe hit production “Sound of Christmas” was performed at Obermarkersdorf for the second time and featured Christmas songs to sing along to.

An ensemble of four top-notch singers from Vienna’s music and theater scene transported the audience at Obermarkersdorf Town Hall 4.0 to a “Winter Wonderland” and enthralled them with songs such as “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “Mary’s Boy.” Baby” or “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. The atmospheric and lively program was under the musical direction of Markus Richter and excited visitors in what was perhaps the most colorful of all the festivals.

The singers were accompanied by excellent musicians from the “Voice of Christmas” group. Among the singing performances there were wonderful poems and stories about Christmas.

The artists also performed to a sold-out crowd in their second guest appearance at Obermarkersdorf. The production of “The Voice of Christmas” is already in its 29th year and can look back on a great success at its original location, the “82er Haus Theater” in Gablitz. The mayor of Schratenthal, Stefan Schmid, wished all visitors a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2024.
