Where can one enjoy not only archaeological masterpieces, but also the “popular” treasures of music history? Do you listen to the greatest composers such as Bruckner, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Haydn, Schubert and Dvořák? Bach's Christmas oratorio, or a cross-section of the entire operetta of Johann Strauss's “The Waltz King,” or Schubert's three song cycles?
Where can you see international stars like Daniil Trifonov, Diana Damrau, Jonas Kaufmann, Misha Maisky, Khatia Bunyatishvili, and national stars like Karl Markovich, Michael Kohlmeier or Birgit Minischmeier, but also meet local heroes from Upper Austria on stage? Where can you find famous conductors like Mirja Grasineti-Tila, brilliant soloists like Marc-André Hamelin, and world-famous orchestras like the Philharmonic du Radio de France, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra or the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra?
Where can you meet the most sought-after organist in the world, Iveta Apkalna, world acting greats, world superstars, but also “stars of tomorrow”? And where can you really enjoy the rhythms and electronic music, enjoy jazz, soul, R&B and gospel music or take a deep look into the spirit of tango?
Where could realistic Austrian sentiments, “fiery and sharp” Latin sentiments, folk music from the Caucasus, Mühl4tler dance music or Baltic influences and classical music in ethnic sound grow together and enter into symbiosis with each other on the same stage? But that's not all: where can the whole family go on a close-up search for clues with the musical detective Tritonus, solve musical mysteries or go on trips to the Enchanted Forest with Antonella and Tari?
Of course in Brucknerhaus Linz, because the unique concert hall with excellent acoustics and a wonderful location on the Danube presents stages in the 2024/25 season under the banner. The opening atmosphere is a diverse concert like no other. Level by level, step by step, note by note, this season opens up the possibility of taking new paths, searching for new impressions, daring to embark on a journey into new worlds of sound. A particularly wonderful season that sets new accents, develops old traditions and establishes new ones, a musical journey from orchestral music to chamber music, from Baroque to jazz, from deep lyrics to light word acrobatics awaits at the Brucknerhaus Linz!
