Carinthia. The “Star Night at Wörthersee” celebrated its 25th edition this year. A host of top-level stars were once again brought to the East Bay of Klagenfurt for the big anniversary show.
The success story began in July 2000: the program “STARnacht am Wörthersee” was broadcast for the first time. At that time, Pörtschach became a meeting place for prominent stars and attracted many music lovers from all over Austria to Carinthia.
Since then, unforgettable artists such as Udo Jürgens, Zucchero, Eros Ramazzotti, Gloria Gaynor, Paul Young, Chris de Burgh, Johnny Logan, Helene Fischer, Andrea Berg, Roland Kaiser, Howard Carpendale, David Hasselhoff, Wolfgang Ambros, Reinhard STARnacht Fendrich, Stefanie Werger, Conchita, Anastacia, Karel Gott, DJ Bobo, Culcha Candela, Costa Cordalis, Die Prinzen, David Garrett and many more have appeared on the stage.
“When we first broadcast it, we didn’t dare dream that our music TV show would still have a fixed slot on TV in 2024,” says Martin Ramusch, owner of iplmedia.
Anniversary Edition
Once again, the star-studded line-up at this year's “STARnacht am Wörthersee” marked a new milestone in the success story.
Among them were, among others, Christina Storm, Andreas Gabalier, Bulent Ceylan, Melissa Naschenwing, De Ser, Thorstein Einarsson, Reinhard Fendrich, Ben Zucker, Volksschleife, Marianne Rosenberg, Semino Rossi, Michelle, Chris Steger, Charlene, Christine Stark, DJ Ötzi, Nicotine and Gregor Glanz.
Moderate, funny and charming
“STARnacht am Wörthersee” is once again led by Barbara Schönberger and Hans Siegel. The German star broadcaster and the Austrian actor and artist are now a perfectly coordinated team leading fantastic musical nights with lots of humor and charm.
New to the anniversary show is the “Sigl on the go” section, in which the presenter discovers interesting things about Lake Wörthersee.
