The developers assert that the racing game is “developed from the ground up for PC”. It is said to offer a variety of graphics settings that can be used to customize the gaming experience, including unlimited refresh rate, 4K resolution, HDR support, and an extended field of view. In Forzavista (auto-display mode), ray tracing is also used – for reflections, as well as for sound. The PC version also supports 21:9 Ultra HD displays as well as the “most popular” steering wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec. Additionally, haptic feedback on the Xbox Wireless Controller is supported in all versions of Forza Horizon 5 – including for the first time on Steam.

Forza Horizon 5 will be available for PC and Xbox on November 9, 2021. The racing game will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass (PC, cloud, console).
