Next stop: Malaysia
There is still one race out there. The Sepang International Circuit will be the finale of the triathlon next weekend. The teams were there for winter testing in February, but all the motorcycles have changed since then and the results reached at that time can be controlled. But Ducati is clearly the favorite again. For today we say goodbye here at the bar and have a nice day!
RACE HOSTS: Aldiger investigation at Sepang
The daily report from the race stewards is in place and there are no further penalties in any category.
However, the situation with the incident between Aldeguer and Arbolino in the Moto2 race is not over yet. This may be due to Aldigeer's injury. Arbolino also limped in the pit lane afterward despite the help of a crutch.
Race supervisors will complete the investigation next Thursday in Malaysia.
MotoGP: Marc Marquez 11th
Now there is a revised result. Marc Marquez was listed in eleventh place because the race management saw in videos that he gave up position on the track. This has now been officially confirmed to us. Thus, Marquez ranks eleventh, ahead of Marini.
Moto2: Aldjerre injured
Fermin Aldeguerre broke his left hand when he hit Tony Arbolino in the Moto2 race.
MotoGP: Clarification on Marc Marquez
He crossed the finish line in eleventh place, just ahead of Marini.
For pushing Mir, Marquez was punished by having to drop one position. But Marquez didn't do that, because after going off the track (because of Marquez), Mir lost some ground.
So Marquez could have lost a few seconds and so he kept driving. After he crossed the finish line, the penalty was applied and he finished twelfth behind Marini.
He exploited a loophole in the rules.
Francesco Bagnaia: “The wet track suits me”

But the level of control wasn't really great, I struggled a lot.”

I got ahead of Jack.'” [Miller] And I had the following under control. The result for me this weekend was two second places. Thanks to the wonderful fans here in Thailand. Next time things will go better.”
