From Tuesday to Sunday, the Women’s World Billiards Championships and the Mixed World Championships will be held in Klagenfurt. With siblings Jasmine and Albin Auchan, two Carinthians were among the favorites to win the world title.
In the 2,700-square-meter hall of the Sports Park, the final works and hand motions will be completed on Monday. From Tuesday, Klagenfurt will be the center of the world of pool for six days. Gerald Florian of the organizing committee said that being able to host both the Women’s 10-ball World Championships and the World Team Championships is a great honor for the billiards site in Klagenfurt. In addition to several thousand overnight, the area is being shown off-limits via social media.
According to Florian, Taiwan and Chinese Taipei arrived and trained on Sunday, and the Philippines is there as well. This will be posted on Instagram and social media.
Hope for the world title
64 of the world’s best pool players and 24 national teams, made up of two men and one woman.
