Lukas Höllenbacher, a multiple Austrian supermoto champion and baker from Upper Austria in his main job, has long been considered the “fastest baker” in America. Last weekend, the fourth and final round of the AMA Supermoto National Championship was held at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, AZ. The two-day event saw racing drivers from three national classes crown their champions. Holbacher made it a perfect weekend by setting fast practice times, qualifying on the pole, and winning both motos in dominant fashion to earn him the Open Pro Class title.
Holbacher: “I am very happy to have the opportunity to participate in the US Championships and of course I am very happy with my performance. I was able to win every race this year and I want to especially thank KTM North America for their great support of an amazing bike. I felt completely comfortable on the bike with my KTM MTR team and that definitely influenced our results. Thanks also to Chris Fillmore and my team manager Franco Mollo for their help this season!”
