The Battle of Cologne goes unrequited, and Basel winters in Europe | European Conference League

Despite a strong fighting performance, 1. FC Köln missed the advance to the 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League. Cologne suffered a two-goal deficit against Nice. But it was not enough to achieve the necessary victory.

In the end, it was no longer enough for Cologne to score the winning goal needed to advance. After a big fight, FC, Nice failed in the round of 16.

Beersheba – Austria Vienna 4: 0

For Wiener Austria, the disappointing group stage ends with another defeat. In Israel in Beersheba, “Violet” conceded a double in the first half from Sagiv Gizkel and Ramzi Saffouri (29 and 30). A little over an hour later, Etty Schechter explained everything to the Israelis, who were also eliminated from the group stage. FCSB 0-3 West Ham

West Ham crown the perfect group stage with a comfortable victory in Bucharest. Pablo Fornals opened the scoring with a beautiful volley of the realigned hammers. A header from teen Divin Mubama, which was to fly away, was directed at Joyskim Dawa’s goal. Fornals scored the final result with his second goal. While the Londoners celebrated their sixth win in Game Six, FCSB remained unwinnable in the group stage.
