Rome’s Supreme Court upheld a judge’s decision to appoint a guardian for 94-year-old Italian actress Gina Lollobrigida. Your appeal has been rejected. Lullobrigida’s son asked for a guardian for his mother, with whom he had a strained relationship.
The actress was sane, but medical experts noted a “weakening of the correct perception of reality” and a state of “weakness” that made “working suggestions” possible.
The first attempt failed
The son had already tried to put her under guardianship in 2014, but failed in a court in Rome. Lollobrigida was bitter about the judge’s ruling. Today, she said she will continue to fight against her guardianship.
