The Expanse is one of the best sci-fi series in recent years, and it’s now fortunately being made into a video game – by the story experts at Telltale Games. After a long wait, there is finally a release date set.
The wait will finally be over! Telltale Games’ new adventure is upon us – and it’s nothing short of a video game adaptation of the popular sci-fi series The Expanse.
As of today, it’s clear: you’ll be able to play the first episode of The Expanse: A Telltale Series starting July 27, 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (exclusively on the Epic Games Store). The game was previously presented at Game Awards 2021 and is the first completely new project from Telltale Games since the reorganization in 2018. In this respect it will also be interesting to see if the studio will continue the old successes after the reorganization and will be able to meet the qualitative expectations.
After its release at the end of July, additional episodes of the first season of The Expanse are expected to be released every two weeks. The first season will consist of five episodes in total. Season pre-orders for Standard and Deluxe editions will be available starting June 1st; Those who decide early will also get 24-hour access to Episode 1.
The Deluxe Edition will include additional content beyond the actual game, which has not yet been presented and confirmed in detail. DLC plans still need to be communicated in this context.
