Vienna – Fri, 26/8/2022, 00:15
It was not an easy evening for the SK Rapid Vienna supporters.
Hütteldorfer fans backed their team loudly for 90 minutes in the second second leg of the Conference League on Thursday, but the Green-Whites finally conceded the result against Swiss second-division club FC Vaduz (Match Report >>>).
They have already announced that fans have rarely been satisfied with the shows that have been on display in the past few weeks, but what was presented on Thursday made the camels a flood.
Fast fans demand: “Get out!”
This is what happened after the final whistle: a few fans stormed the field while the rest blew a loud whistle from the stands.
Shortly thereafter, crowds made their way to the main podium, expressing their displeasure with the leadership team. Fans stormed under the management box, as their calls to “get out of bounds” intensified once again.
In addition to the police, Rapid legend Stephen Hoffman also had to go out to calm the situation and speak to the angry crowd.
However, it is doubtful whether the “god of football” had any great success with her.
