At the Alpine World Cup 2021/22, the watch for giant slalom drivers is now amazing! Over the next two days, there will be two races in the technically demanding discipline on the steep Gran Risa slope in Alta Badia.
Today’s first giant slalom starts at 10am with the first round, and the second race starts at 1.30pm.
In my two giant slalom races so far this season, Marco Odermatt has been unbeatable. The Swiss are still among the top favorites in the race to this day.
Good news from a German point of view: Alexander Schmid secured his giant slalom ticket to the Winter Olympics in Beijing last weekend in sixth place in Val d’Isere. The guy wants Allgäu to make it into the top ten again today.
