HA dispute between a couple on board a Lufthansa flight led to a stop in Delhi, India. The Airbus was on its way from Munich to Bangkok when the dispute between the German man and the Thai woman continued to escalate. Indian media reported this.
According to The Telegraph, the woman approached the pilot and complained about her husband’s behavior, saying that he was “threatening her.” I asked the pilot to intervene. The man then allegedly became more angry and shouted at his wife. He did not follow the crew’s instructions, so they called Indian air traffic control and asked to stop.
The plane landed in Delhi at 10:26 pm local time. The man had to get off the plane there. According to Indian newspapers, Lufthansa is in contact with the German embassy. A message from the airline said the grounding was due to an “unruly passenger.”
The flight to Bangkok was about two hours late. The reason for the dispute between the spouses was not known, but according to Indian media, it was resolved at the station.
