MUNICH – The medical emergency overshadowed Barcelona’s 4-0 La Liga win over Cadiz.
A fan had a heart attack in the stands during the match. Cadiz goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma stormed the field after the players realized the emergency to hand the medical staff in the stands a pacemaker provided by FC Barcelona. As a result of this incident, the match was suspended for about an hour.
