On Tuesday, restructuring proceedings without self-administration were opened in the Welse Regional Court regarding the assets of the traditional car dealership Seefried United in Grieskirchen. This was reported by Creditor Protector KSV1870. Liabilities amount to 3.2 million euros against assets of 1.4 million euros. 50 creditors are affected and are offered a 20 percent share within two years. There are nine employees working. The car dealership has been around for over 50 years.
The reasons lie in the high costs of expansion in Wells, which did not achieve the required increase in sales. The site has been closed again. In addition, there were high energy and wage costs, which could not be fully transferred, as well as reluctance to purchase. Managing partner Adolf Seifried wants to continue with the dealership, which deals in new Hyundai cars as well as used cars and runs a workshop. Seefried is a representative of the Vehicle Trade Committee of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
