The HC Pustertal Sports Department continues to work on the team for the upcoming season in the Ice Hockey League. After the club announced the signing of Tyler Coulter on Thursday, the Wolves bid farewell to three players on Sunday.

The Supreme Football Council also announced on Sunday evening that Dante Hanoune, Rick Schofield and Wyatt Egge will no longer wear the black and yellow kit next season. While Schofield and Iggy's farewell has become clear, the Italian-Canadian's departure came as a huge surprise. Hanoun has always been an asset and one of the best dual players over the past three seasons. Last season he scored an impressive 35 points. Now the 25-year-old has decided to look for a new adventure: as also announced on Sunday, Hanoune will move to Slovak First Division club HK Spisska Nova Ves.

In recent weeks, several media outlets have reported that Schofield is aiming to return to the German Ice Hockey League (DEL). Accordingly, the 37-year-old will sign a contract with FC Düsseldorfer. Schofield was a leader in the HCP colours, collecting more than a point per game and playing a key role in Wolves' run to the semi-finals. Despite his age, he could have been very valuable for next season.

After two years in the Green Valley, Eiji also has to say goodbye. The 29-year-old moved to Bronek from the outside and has developed into a reliable defender who has strengths on the puck, but has weaknesses in duels. However, it is not surprising that sporting director Patrick Bona decided to part ways. It is still uncertain where the American boy will go.
