Sweeter, sweeter, the royal twin of Monaco! Princess Charlene of Monaco rarely answers reporters’ questions. Better yet, she is now speaking candidly about her children, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, in an interview with Monaco-Matin newspaper. It reveals cute little details from their daily lives.
I broke up for the first time
Since Monday, September 11, Gabriella and Jack have had to return to school. It seems that this was not a problem for the twins, as mother Charlene says:
On this school morning, Jack and Gabriella were really looking forward to seeing their friends again after such a long vacation.

However, there might be something frustrating: this is the first time the two aren’t in the same class. But Princess Charlene sees no problem with this: “I think this will be good for them.”
To celebrate, the palace posted a photo of Princess Gabriella and Prince Jack on the first day of the new school year.
Gabriella and Jack are now in third grade. How time flies!
The twins are very different
Like Ying and Yang: Even though they are twins, the prince and princess couldn’t be more different. According to Princess Charlene, Gabriella is “completely spontaneous” and very confident. Jack, on the other hand, is rather “reserved”, but “very attentive”. What a beautiful combination!
When it comes to the young royals’ interests, the twins couldn’t be more different: Gabriella loves hip-hop dancing. And Jack? He has a passion for taekwondo.
A passion they share: They are clearly two passionate water mice. Just like mother Charlene, who has already won several gold medals as a swimmer for her native South Africa.
But no matter which twin has which hobby, it is only important for the princess to “enable them to have a good education, self-confidence and a happy childhood.”
Cute stories of royal twins
This is not the first time Princess Charlene has spoken about her children. In the summer of 2021, Gabriella tried working as a hairdresser and quickly cut her bangs before visiting South Africa.
Mama Charlene posted the result on Instagram. Perhaps this was not what the princess expected. But as we all know, practice makes perfect. And so there have been funny pictures forever!
That’s why Prince Jack became the heir to the throne
Although 8-year-old Princess Gabriella was born two minutes before her brother Jacques, he is the heir to the principality’s throne. Male heirs precede female heirs in the line of succession to the throne of Monaco. On the other hand, Gabriella is entitled to the title of Altesse Sérénissime.
