MLast year, Manfred Meyer cycled across America from the Atlantic to the Pacific. At the invitation of the Kulturwerkstatt Kirchberg, he will report on this adventure on Friday, April 14, under the motto “One man – sixty days – 5,600 kilometers”.
After cycling from Kirchberg to Spain (3,000 km), the Northern Cape (3,800 km) and Sicily (2,000 km), the trip through America was the HTL professor’s longest ever. Driving on highways, bike paths and gravel roads was grueling. With beautiful views and engaging stories, Meyer revisits the eight-week journey. Be it natural beauty, memorable encounters or unplanned oops – nothing is wanted to be hidden from the audience.
The lecture will take place in Kirchberg and will start at 7pm. Admission is free.
