For months, rumors have been circulating that Ubisoft’s subscription service + will launch on Xbox. Now Microsoft takes care of that itself.
Microsoft confirms the premature launch of a program Ubisoft + on XboxAfter the rumors persisted for months.
Since the beginning of 2022, there have been rumors that Ubisoft + will be coming to Xbox. Formerly known as Uplay+, Ubisoft’s service offers subscribers a catalog of games similar to Netflix, making it comparable in nature to Xbox Game Pass.
Ubisoft + for Xbox
The PlayStation subscription service has been around since the end of 2022. There are now clear notices in the Microsoft Rewards section of the Xbox app. While this change does not appear to be present worldwide as of today (April 13, 2023), the development itself suggests that the appearance of Ubisoft + Xbox will be sooner rather than later.
According to rumors, more than 60 Ubisoft + games will be available on Microsoft’s console by the end of March. This corresponds to an incomplete catalog, after all there are over 100 games on PC for Ubisoft +.
However, what we should not expect is that the new service will be included with Xbox Game Pass. Ubisoft+ can also be reserved via the Xbox app.
