According to Gaming Insider reports Tom Henderson Ubisoft wants to release ten new Assassin's Creed games by 2030 (via XboxTwo Podcast).
The idea of releasing a new Assassin's Creed game every six months comes from the desire to constantly provide fans of the series with new content. The basic idea won't be new, after all Activision provides Call of Duty fans with a new game every year. EA Sports “digitizes” many sports games every year. With this strategy, Ubisoft wants to strengthen ties with the community and ensure that fans can regularly experience new adventures in the world of Assassins.

One of the biggest questions surrounding this announcement concerns the quality of the new titles. Can Ubisoft ensure that every game lives up to high expectations? With a semi-annual release, Ubisoft can certainly “take over” – after all, Assassin's Creed Shadows was recently delayed. The development team insisted on postponement in order to provide a good match for the fans. It is also questionable whether all the games are AAA games. After all, many developers have already realized that smaller games definitely have their appeal, including for us gamers. We don't all have 200 hours to “play” a video game.
