11:10 am | Ukraine reports continued pressure on eastern front
The Ukrainian military is under considerable pressure in the east of the country. “The situation in Pokrovsk and Kurachov remains tense,” the General Staff in Kiev said in its evening situation report. Three civilians, including a minor, were killed in Ukrainian shelling in the western Russian region of Belgorod, according to official reports. Four people were injured in the town of Arkhangelskoye near the border, the region's governor, Vyacheslav Kladkov, said in a telegram.
