From 7:00 pm – Women’s Doubles Final:
- Gabriela Dabrowski (Canada/16)/Erin Routliff (Canada/16) – Vera Zvonareva (12)/Laura Siegemund (Germany/12)
Laura Siegmund has already left Flushing Meadows twice with a title under her belt. In 2016, she won the mixed doubles, and in 2020, she won the doubles alongside her current partner Vera Zvonareva. Zvonareva was also victorious with Nathalie Dechy in 2006. Dabrowski reached the last major final of the year in 2021. Routliffe made it past the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time.
Not before 10:00pm – Men’s Final:
- Daniil Medvedev (3) – Novak Djokovic (SRB/2)
Djokovic goes into the final as the favourite. The Serbian has a chance to win his 24th Grand Slam title, which will put him equal with Margaret Court in singles. But Medvedev has already proven that the final Grand Slam of the year suits him. The Russian won the title in 2021. Djokovic won nine of the previous 14 meetings, but Medvedev succeeded in the last confrontation in Dubai.
