It started before the final which was supposed to start 45 minutes later. Fans without tickets tried to enter the stadium. Security forces had to push them back. This angered some Argentine fans, as sports newspaper “Diario Ole” documented on “X” (formerly Twitter): “It's a disaster. I've never been to a stadium like that in my life. It's horror,” said an Argentinian woman: “They're ready to organize anything. No.”
Another fan expressed his anger on the site: “They opened a meter door and everyone has to go in,” said the fed-up. Another Argentina supporter followed: “They can't organize a World Cup.”

It is not known if they actually made it to the stadium.
And the anger isn't just at the fan level. Uruguay coach Marcelo Bielsa was also satisfied with the composition of the participating teams. Argentina was furious at a press conference about the conditions at the site. “They said the training grounds were perfect. Bolivia didn't train. I have photos to prove it's all a lie. It's not all false advertising for the USA, which is hosting the World Cup in two years.
