IÚmgard Schlager has been painting since 2002. She can really relax from everyday life with her air horse.
Opened by artist Irmgard Schlager, who is currently showing her paintings – watercolor, acrylic and pencil – at the Herzogenburg Cultural Center Reitherhaus, the exhibition was well-attended last Friday. The lovable artist, who lives on the outskirts of Dunkelsteinerwald, came to paint by chance in the fall of 2002 through a friend and enrolled in her first painting course. From now on, painting became her passion, where she could really take a break from everyday life. She is also a regular participant in the performance show by local artists, “Wölbling werkt wieder”, which takes place every two years at the Fink winery.
Also present in Herzogenburg were City Councilor Kurt Schirmer with his family, Municipal Councilor Jörg Roehringer, Mayor of Volpling Karin Gorenzel with her counterpart Günter Schaubach from Behra, Former Mayor of Volpling Gottfried Krammel with his wife Irene and Honorary President of the Oberndorf Carnival Guild, Gerti. furworth.
