A severe storm over Mallorca has temporarily closed Palma Airport. All takeoffs and landings were temporarily suspended Tuesday afternoon, airport operator Ena and Spanish Transport Minister Oscar Puente announced on Canal X. Regional newspapers Diario de Mallorca and Ultima Hora, citing an airport spokeswoman, reported that Many incoming flights have been diverted to Barcelona and Ibiza, among other cities.
Flight operations have resumed in Palma de Mallorca
