Wienerberger recorded a loss of 0.3 percent. The world's largest brick manufacturer posted much smaller gains at the start of the year this year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) fell by 45 percent to €115 million in the first quarter compared to the same period last year.
