There has never been a winter break quite like it, and probably never will be again. In the first half of the HSV against Sandhausen (November 12), the ball has been at rest in the Bundesliga for eleven weeks. The World Cup break turns the break into an XXL winter. Planning for how HSV wants to manage time is in full swing – and most professionals can be happy and look forward to lots of free time.
One thing is clear: the day after Sandhausen kicks off, the team heads to America for nine days (November 13-22), where HSV will visit their rooms in Irvine/California. Apart from the game against second division team Orange County Soccer Club (November 15), a second opponent is being sought.
HSV experts call for a long vacation
Best for the pros: Most of them can relax for the rest of the year after they return. Only those who have recovered in December will have to work a little at Volkspark.
What happened at Volkspark this week? Every Friday, the Rautenpost brings you analysis, updates and transfer rumours—at the end of the week, all the latest HSV news of the week is summarized and sent directly to your inbox by email. Click here to subscribe for free.
And then? The basic data for the product is yet to be fixed. There are several indications that Tim Walter will hear communion again on January 2nd.
