Company representatives chat with ambassadors and journalists over finger food and white wine and business cards are exchanged. A handshake and an American “stay in touch” stamp new contacts.
Events like this happen every day in the US capital, but this year the mood is better – at least among investors with locations in the US. Billions in subsidies from Joe Biden’s US government are having an effect, and America is more attractive than foreign companies.
