This now leaves some questions unanswered – as this would be a huge change compared to the previous practice when switching to Windows 10. Windows 11 is undoubtedly a big change compared to Windows 10, especially in terms of the user interface. Some will love them, some will hate them, or simply cannot cope with the many changes. Accordingly, the desire to return, from Windows 11 to Windows 10, is certainly not entirely empty.

At MSI, you already have the point in Instructions Packed for Windows 11 and writes:
- After upgrading, can I go back to Windows 10 if I don’t like Windows 11?
- Yeah. After you install the Windows 11 upgrade, there is a 10-day period to go back to Windows 10, keeping the files and data you brought with you. After 10 days, you will need to backup your data and perform a “clean install” to get back to Windows 10.
This comes from a report by Hothardware electronic magazines Who discovered and cleaned up the FAQ. According to a recently posted FAQ, Windows 11 users will have to stay with Windows 11 after ten days. Alternatively, after ten days you won’t have the option to go back to Windows 10, the option will then be removed.
It used to be 30 days
This probably means that windows.old folder will be deleted automatically after 10 days. This will be much less time to undo than what Microsoft previously offered. when changing from Windows 8 Windows 10 had a 30-day period to return Windows 10. Microsoft will likely start offering a free upgrade to Windows 11 for existing Windows 10 users this year. By then at the latest, there will also be a public statement from the Windows team.
