MSI does not only offer New X570S motherboards In the future, Gigabyte is also taking advantage of this moment and has revised some of its existing X570 motherboards and in some cases has also fitted them with new interfaces. At the same time, Gigabyte has chosen the path of saying goodbye to VISION motherboards and adopting them in AERO models.
It was previously clear that Gigabyte would like to bring out some new branches on X570 motherboards with passive cooling. There is an X5570S AORUS ELITE, X570S AORUS PRO AX or X570SI AORUS PRO AX in mini-ITX format. However, the X570S is now called AERO G, which will completely replace the VISION circuit boards and which will remain unchanged for the creator. A completely new feature of some Gigabyte X570S motherboards is that a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 interface will also be included, which can transfer data at speeds of up to 20Gb/s. Since the X570(S) chipset cannot natively run this interface, Gigabyte will have to rely on a dedicated controller.
The motherboard for Gigabyte X570 motherboards will remain the X570 AORUS EXTREME with already passive cooling for the chipset, so that the X570 AORUS Master has finally been revised and will now be launched as the X570S AORUS MASTER. The AM4 CPU is powered by a 16-phase direct power supply. Each of the 16 coils will be able to provide an output of 70 amps. Across the mainboard, 2.5 Gb/s LAN ports and some WiFi 6 modules should be on board.
Just like MSI, Gigabyte hasn’t mentioned a release date, let alone pricing for new motherboards, so there’s still a big question mark here. However, it couldn’t be long before this information was also leaked.
