Microsoft has named the four games that will be part of Games with Gold in October 2021 — for Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Users have two Xbox Series X titles | S, Xbox One, and two other Xbox 360 games, and can also be played on newer Xbox consoles thanks to backwards compatibility.

- Aero Available October 1 through October 31 on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.
- hovering Available October 16 through November 15 on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.
- Castlevania: Harmony of Despair Available October 1-15th on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
- Resident Evil Code: Veronica X Available October 16 through October 31 on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

- Warhammer: Chaosbane Available September 1-30 on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.
- molaka Available September 16 through October 15 on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One.

- Samurai Shodown 2 is available September 16-30 on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
