An interesting thing appeared in China this weekend. On your collage (Deleted again), images of the supposed Xiaomi 14 Ultra prototype have been published for the first time, which is still in a protective packaging covering the camera but still offers some early insights into the successor to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The images below likely come from an early camera test where some comparisons were made with the Xiaomi 14 Pro and Vivo X100 Pro. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also appears to be visible in one of the images.
The information on the white sticker on the back is also interesting. “N1” confirms the assumption that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is already behind the protective cover, after all, this abbreviation is the model number of the upcoming Leica flagship. The P2 in turn refers to a prototype and not yet the final version of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, for example xiaomiui to explain. Last but not least, “EU” of course refers to a global version for Europe, where the language used in the camera app is Chinese.
The images only allow indirect conclusions to be drawn about the camera design itself. A round camera module is again generally expected, and the arrangement of the four lenses doesn't seem to have changed much. Again, the optics of the scope can be seen on the lower right side. Overall, the quad camera looks a little larger than its predecessor, but there are no details about the dimensions yet. Only recently, it was rumored that a new 1-inch sensor will be debuted in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will likely be found inside.
