Yeager sends Course: Boundaries Today in the final closed beta on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
According to the studio, approximately 350,000 players participated in the first closed beta. The second and final beta of the closed beta runs from now until April 4, 2022.
What’s new in the second beta?
The new closed beta brings a number of innovations to the mix of PvE, PvP and co-op.
Registration for the aforementioned beta is done directly via steam and in Epic Games Store possible.
Once in, you can complete three new faction campaigns that will guide you through the game’s first steps. At the same time you unlock equipment and gain insight into the story.
Meanwhile, the world of Fortuna III is getting more and more dangerous. New and improved laser drills and oil pumps allow you to maximize your profits, but also attract enemies who are after your loot.
Meanwhile, the animals of the planet have some new and less friendly surprises in store. The new creature types present you with greater challenges, but they also come with some good rewards if you encounter them.
To improve navigation, Yager has redesigned Bright Sands and Crescent Falls. The graphics have also been modified to “find the perfect balance between impending danger and the scenic beauty of Fortuna III”.
The studio made further improvements in the areas of combat balance, enemy AI, loot, tutorials, and audio-visual feedback. There have also been several changes and modifications based on feedback from the community.
