Stranger Things star Matthew Modine has announced that he will marry his co-star Millie Bobby Brown and rock star son Jake Bongiovi at their wedding. “I have one of those licenses to marry people, and Millie thought it would be great, and then Jake said it would be a great idea,” Modine, 65, said on the TV show Access Hollywood.
The actor explained that he drafted a letter. “They liked what I wrote so they could join hands and become husband and wife.” Modine plays a scientist in the Netflix series “Stranger Things,” who Brown calls “Daddy” in her role as Eleven.
According to Modine, the wedding of his young colleague in the series will be the second that he holds himself. “It is a beautiful thing to bring two people into the state of holy matrimony,” he said enthusiastically. Brown, 20, and the son of American musician Jon Bon Jovi, who is one year older than him, announced their engagement in April last year.
